XF 1.3 force cache to clear

I use the cache tool in XF admin and clear my browser cache, but the old version still appears, with no changes that i've made.

is there a better way to force all caches on XF to clear, besides the admin tool?

for example, i've uploaded an updated image via FTP, and no matter what - the old one still shows up on my forum, but when i view it via ftp, it's fine.

Have you tried pressing Ctrl +F5?

im thinking it was a firefox issue. it works fine in chrome, but at the same time, i cleared cache on my phone and it still showed the old image there too!

It's happened to me before I think.

My suggestion would be to open the image in a new tab (the image location) then refresh that image url. See if you have any luck once you refresh the page which the image is shown.

Did that too. It's updated in chrome and ff now, but still old image on mobile. The FTP shows the correct image so I'm sure it must update soon. Everything else on xf updates so it probably isn't xf related after all.

No, it wouldn't be XF related. When in doubt, I think you should just give it time.
