Flarum - forums reimagined?

I read that as "We need to step away from the tried and tested, and most widely used UI on forum systems and switch to the one that has either killed communities that switched to it, or forced the community owners to make a u turn."

Taking the best features and adapting the idea is different than copying everything or migrating to that platform. I have listed down the points which I feel need immediate improvement. How we implement is up for discussion.

The widely used UI is not relevant anymore and systems like discourse understand that.
