XF 2.0 First 2.0 update?

I'm holding out on upgrading until the first patch is out for Xenforo 2.0.

Could someone let me know if this will happen before Christmas or will it be sometime in the new year?

Patch? Unless it is some severe security issue, XF has not issued patches. Minor updates (like XF 1.5.5 to 1.5.6) were, I think, every two months, primarily for bug fixes. Given that this is a new major release, maybe one will happen sooner. But I don't see that as a valid reason for not upgrading now.

We have to hold off on upgrading since we are awaiting a couple of major add-ons to be converted to XF2 compatibility before we move on. Otherwise I would have upgraded already.

Sorry, I meant update - not patch.

I see new entries every day in the" 2.x bug report" thread, that's why I'm holding off until the next update.
No problem. ;)

We have only used XF2 in our private staff "testing" forums, so we haven't really encountered any bugs yet. Except for one obscure bug that Mike was able to track down back when XF2 was in beta. I'm finding issues with the UI.X 2 theme, but that is to be expected since it is also a new product. And I am slowly working on a unique theme using UI.X 2 for when we finally launch XF2. I figure I might as well get all of that "change" over and done with during one go-round with the members...since there always that small handful who dislike change of any sort. :D

We've been using it in production just fine for over a week. No significant issues.

Upgrade when it's a good time for you and for your users (which could be the holidays)

XF2 has been in open betas for a *long* time. Any severe bugs have been ironed out, really. Most the reported bugs, especially the confirmed ones, are minor aesthetic issues or browser incompatibilities.
