XF 1.3 Finding A String Of Text For Edit

Is there a way to find "sidebar .secondaryContent" in the edit templet search filter or do I have to guess and look through each one and guess until I find this area to make the custom edit? Also being a newbie, is there more than one way to make background color changes like #ffffff; ie, cause looking through the templates I also see rgb ie. This is a right sidebar block category color change. Any and all help much appreciated.
