It looks pretty good. I'd probably say your Welcome/Join banner is way to big. That's a lot of blue empty space.

It's pretty slow to load (I think the image at the top is the main issue) which you can probably improve.

yeah the blue banner is changing its going to have images behind as soon as i get chance

Realistically apart from a nice green in the browser, https is pretty pointless for the majority of forums.

This way you can wipe away any security.
