The favicon of my site does not appear in IE, but it does in FireFox and Chrome etc. Is there anything specific my developer shuld be doing to ensure the Favicon also starts to appear in IE?

(We have been waiting 1 whole day but the favicon has still not appeared in IE).

Just make sure it's present in the root directory as favicon.ico. It took a little longer for some reason for IE to show up on my site also. If it is working in FF and Chrome, you know it's where it's supposed to be. Just write it off to an IE vagary (as if it doesn't already have enough as it is ;))

I feels sorry for people that actually use IE.

I've had the exact same problem with FireFox a few times. Eventually it appears.

Thank you for this. I can see the favicon at http://globaldiscussionforum.tv/favicon.ico in IE, but, on the main site at http://globaldiscussionforum.tv, in IE, the favicon is still not visible despite a few days passing since it was added.

Are you able to see the favicon at http://globaldiscussionforum.tv?

But can any one see it in their IE?

Make sure it is a valid .ico file in the format IE supports.

I can't see it in IE10. If I go directly to the favicon.ico file it displays correctly in the browser window, but doesn't apply it at the tab so may be a formatting issue as @Brogan has indicated. (y)
