XF 2.1 Fatal error after host upgrade

Hi folks, apologies for the topic but i really hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Yesterday i upgraded our hosting package (Bluehost), and despite our main Wordpress site back online ok, the Xenforo forums result in a fatal error message

I have been trying to check in with my webmaster, but having a spot of bother. Bluehost havent exactly been helpful either, but i will keep pestering them if i cant get anywhere. I thought perhaps the wonderful peeps of the XenForo community could help!

Start by investigating this:

Access denied for user 'shenmued_forum'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Something has happened to your database access.
