Not a bug Extra space when clicking "reply" to a comment

Not sure if it's as designed, but when clicking on "reply" next to someone else comment, it puts extra space (enter) before my cursor and the quote.

Chrome Version 27.0.1453.110
OSX 10.8.4

I don't see any difference:

First comment is without spacing, the other one is with spacing.

There isn't a visual difference. Its added in so you can't visually see that there will be roughly a line break between the quote and the text. It doesn't matter with or without the space, but it is as designed.
