Export AdminCP settings

So I've got my site mostly set up the way I would like but is there a way to export the settings in adminCP so I don't have to go through them all again?

The settings are saved in the database so just take a backup of the database.

You shouldn't have to set them up again as the settings are preserved during upgrades.

See I've got my test installation using a weekold database, are you saying I can reimport on top of that?

Nope.

What you should have done is set up your installation after first creating it, before importing anything.

Then take a backup and keep that as your master clean copy.

You can then import, wipe/reload and repeat as many times as you like until you do your final import.

If you reimport on top of what you have now, you will end up with duplicate content.
