XF 2.1 Enabling inline moderation tools

We just switched our forum from another software to XF2. Love it so far. I am trying to figure put how to enable inline moderation tools. Can anyone help me?

You will need to promote the member accounts to moderator status and assign the relevant permissions you wish them to have.
