XF 2.2 enable guests to upvote questions (thread_type_question)

Hi,

is there a way to enable guests to upvote on questions threads? I set permissions from user group Unregistered / Unconfirmed in ability to vote on threads to yes - but still no ability to update questions as guest... any suggestions?

There are certain permissions which don't apply to guests such as voting, reactions, etc. (as there is no data recorded for guests).

It would require custom development to change that.

The reason why those permissions appear for the unregistered / unconfirmed user group, is those permissions also apply to registered members who have not confirmed their accounts.

@Brogan thanks for your anwser. It would be a great chance to get upvotes from guests on older question-threads that usually not often viewed by registered members. Do you have any suggestions (company or freelancer) who is able to realizes such a custom development? feel free to send me an msg.
