How can I embedded direct mp4 files like http://video.gamespotcdn.com/d5/2014/08/23/destiny_icebucket_challenge_082314_4000.mp4
Is there any alternative plugin that simply uses a HTML video tag to make a video work all I want is a video tag, no watermark, none of that.
Won't work on mobiles as it requires Flash 9.0 or higher. You can use webm fallbacks with FF (ref). Check this addon.
Then ogv, modified mp4, etc in callbacks. See the source of this website.Won't work on mobiles as it requires Flash 9.0 or higher.
The demo at http://www.afioc.com/thinktank/threads/advanced-bb-codes-multimedia.1958/ shows "Flash 9.0+ is required", perhaps the plugin is outdated on that site? Then ogv, modified mp4, et c in callbacks. See the source of this website.
IE, chrome and iPad, IPhone and Android works however!@Pinn Yeah, but it won't work on Firefox
I didn't attach the special mp4 file. To cover all browsers, the video tag should have two fallbacks. Let's hope browser editors will try to agree on a standard... I think if you take a look at the youtube source, videos are coded in different formats as well (need to be checked). The demo at http://www.afioc.com/thinktank/threads/advanced-bb-codes-multimedia.1958/ shows "Flash 9.0+ is required", perhaps the plugin is outdated on that site?
Best to include your own library probably and use that. What's the best tool for showing mp4 vids for files uploaded to posts these days?
