Does XenForo allow you to embed a Facebook post?
You may be able to create a custom bb code for it, but it's not something which would work out of the box.
Thanks Brogan. I'm part of a huge network that will be moving all of our forums over to XenForo so I'm trying to learn as much as possible before we release the boards over the next few months. So far I'm loving XenForo!
Or you may embed a post just using HTML code and using this BBCODE (https://xenforo.com/community/resources/html-bbcode-permission-protected.731/):
That may work for our staff but it looks like it wouldn't be a good idea to allow for all users. Twitter works great but I haven't found an easy solution for Facebook. Thanks for the suggestion.
I was thinking about this too. It would be useful for me.
What do you use to integrate Twitter SCTechMan? Or did you make it yourself?
Absolutely right, I just suggested you that if you wanted to allow admins to embed FB posts only.
Fred I'm not actually the person doing the coding, I'm only an owner of a few sites that will be using the XenForo software. I'm not really sure what customization our engineers did to use Twitter but for us all we have to do is put in the URL of the tweet and it embeds perfectly.
