XF 2.1 Email to members failed

I just tried to do a newsletter to our member base and it looks that all or most failed with this error. Is this a Xenforo error or my email server?

• Swift_TransportException: Email to ### failed: Expected response code 250 but got code "421", with message "421 too many messages in this connection "

It's an issue with your SMTP server.
