XF 1.4 Email system isn't working

I've had to turn off the email validation system because no one is receiving emails from my site. I've had someone try to reset their password and hasn't been able too either. I can send a mass email via the ACP just fine, but when it comes to the automatic email it isn't working. How do I go about getting this to work? It works with my other forum that's on the same hosting service as this one, just not this website in particular.

If you can send emails from the ACP then that confirms everything is working.
Presumably there are no entries in the ACP error log?

For emails related to password resets, etc., you can check the server mail log to confirm it was sent.
If it was, it's likely been spam trapped somewhere.
