so this makes sense on 2.3.x? this does seem to solve the delay in processing account approvals with mail notification!

Honestly I'm mostly updating this add-on for the changed retry logic and to force things to be queued since there are still a couple places which don't push to the queue straight away

so... i am on 2.3.4 and using the 2.4.1 version of this addon. with this addon enabled i get an error on sending a test outbound mail.
