XF 1.4 Email notification in profil message

Is there a way by default in XF to set globally email notification for new message in user profile ?

Are there any other add-ons for profile post emails? That one is unmaintained and also does not allow members to disable the emails. I can't seem to find any alternatives to that add-on.

That's the only one I'm aware of, which I use. It does allow members to disable the emails.
