Why do users still have to verify there email if they register via twitter, Microsoft etc. Can it be so they don't have to?

If the email account we get from the provider is verified, then they don't have to. It varies from provider to provider. Historically, Twitter hasn't given emails though I believe they now have the option, though we don't currently ask for it.
