XF 1.4 Email alerts when testing import

I'm moving from vBulletin, and I'm totally new to XenForo, so please excuse me if I'm asking stupid questions while I learn how XenForo works!

I've just started a test installation, and I've imported my vBulletin 3.8 forum.

I'm wondering if I'm going to be potentially triggering email alerts while I'm playing around with the test installation, e.g. if I post a test message in a thread that a user just happens to be watching.

Is there any way to stop any emails going out to my users from my test installation?

Yes that is a concern.

Edit the library/config.php file. Add this line:

$config['enableMail'] = 0;
