Hi, thanks for your question. In honesty, when I'm unsure of some elements of designing the shell. Yes this would be correct,

Bought it, looking forward to try it! Nice introductory price ❤️
Thanks for picking it up, I really appreciate it! I hope you have fun messing around with the back end and making it feel like your own.

I was tempted to customise a lot more of the enemies and NPCs, but in the end I thought it was better to leave plenty of room for site owners to put their own stamp on it. There’s enough there to show what can be done and give you ideas, without me taking over the whole world for you. :-p

I agree and I think every forum owner should make their own version.

Thanks for pointing that out, I appreciate it. I must have changed the pricing at some point and completely missed that line in the resource description. It would've probably sat there unnoticed for ages otherwise 😅

Given that your discount ends tomorrow, I may go ahead and grab this. Can you explain the difference between the "Premium Introductory Launch Price" at $69.95 and the "Eggy Ultimate Bundle" at $51.92? The premium offering says that it includes all RPG extensions. Does that include all of the add-ons that are in the ultimate bundle? For example, I wasn't sure if that ROM console add-on was part of that.

Hi, thanks for your question.

The $51.92 Ultimate Bundle and the $69.95 RPG Premium launch offer are two different things.

The Ultimate Bundle includes the standard non Premium version of Eggy RPG, Guilds, ROM Console, and the other products listed in that bundle.

The RPG Premium offer is specifically for Eggy RPG. It includes the base RPG plus Premium, and while your Premium entitlement is active, all paid RPG extensions are included at no additional cost.

So Guilds is covered by RPG Premium because it is a paid RPG extension.

ROM Console is not an RPG extension, so it is not included with RPG Premium. It is included with the Ultimate Bundle.

The main difference is that the Ultimate Bundle gives you a wider selection of separate productsat a discounted price right now, whereas RPG Premium is focused on the RPG itself and gives you the long term benefit of receiving paid RPG extensions without buying each one separately.

The $69.95 price is the introductory launch price for RPG Premium and ends tomorrow. From the 16th, the base RPG ($49.95) will increase accordingly with Premium will be $99.95.

I do plan to add an upgrade route from the standard RPG to Premium later as well, but that is not available yet.

As a follow-up ROM Console will receive extension updates in the future and this will include more support for emulators such as the rest of the SEGA emulators such as SEGA CD, and also other platforms such as Atari etc. These extensions will not require a premium.

Seems like the ultimate bundle is the best bang for your buck as it stands.

Is there a list of the current RPG extensions? I assume that would be all of the add-ons that you have posted that have “RPG” in the title?

Yeah, as it stands I think the Ultimate Bundle is probably the best value if you like a bit of variety.

For the current RPG extensions, yes, generally the add ons I have posted with RPG in the title are the RPG related extensions.

Looking further ahead, with no deadline attached, I also plan to introduce a V15 engine into the RPG. The idea is moving sprites, real time co op fighting, visual mobs and bosses, health bars, sounds and live online presence. That could eventually grow into more of an open world style experience as well.

That would not mean retiring the current tile based RPG though. Both could exist alongside each other, with the site admin having control over how they want things set up, and potentially both systems running together.

I plan to invest a lot of time into taking the RPG further as it develops, and larger extensions like that would also be included with Premium while the entitlement is active.

So it really depends what you are into. Both the RPG and ROM Console have a strong community focused side to them, so if I was choosing between the two myself I would probably struggle as well.

Upgrading to Premium later will be possible, but right now I would say the Ultimate Bundle is the more cost effective option if you want the wider variety of products.

This is the current extension not yet released and it's appearance is not final for this.

When I was working on that as a different project standalone/website. This is the idea I eventually would like to introduce as an paid but optional extension to have active. it would have online presence and many many unique zones with different enemy sprites that will run at you and try to defeat you

I think I'll pull the trigger and grab the Ultimate Bundle for now. It's truly incredible that you're doing all of these things within XenForo.
