Install the addon and edit group permissions to allow admins (and moderators if you want) to use the feature.

If and admin or moderator edits a post that is not their own it will say edited by a moderator. If they edit their own it will say their username. Just an FYI. I find it useful that it says moderator. And yes you can check/uncheck when editing a post, by default it will show.
