XF 2.1 Editing Templates

Someone I trust told me to avoid making edits in template, using only extra.less.

I went in and looked at my templates and three (not including those associated with specific addons or extra.less) are in red.

I am 99% sure I didn't edit those.

I looked at one of them, app_header.less, and copied the code, reverted and copied that code too.

Side-by-side the code looks identical.

Any ideas what is going on? Is it possible that an addon is doing it?

Not having any site issues, just wondering.

Are they custom styles?

I am not using the default, so yes.

I thought all my changes were in extra.less and in the CMS.

Custom styles will make changes in any templates they need. Nothing to worry about as it’s common practice.
