XF 2.1 Editing templates

When you edit templates in the ACP on a customized style, it shows that the template has been edited from the default style. Is there a way to not have the template show as customized to avoid an accidental revert?

No not TMS, directly editing a template such as core_pagenav.less.

Don't think there is any way to hide those without template modification/add-on.

i suppose you could always create a "non user selectable" orphan style for a backup....thats what i do...then of course backed up on test mirrors during xen upgrades...

If you want template to not show as customised, you need to edit it in master style. However updating XenForo or rebuilding master data will revert your changes. Rebuilding master data overwrites master template.

So better use template modifications. Future proof and easier to maintain.
