I'm looking for an easy to use ecommerce site builder. I have tried BigCartel and its meh. Shopify looks good but is a little expensive. Any other suggestions?

I'll definitely check it out... This will be useful for my forum but I am thinking of doing a merchandise startup separate from my xenforo site... Anyone have a good experience with a standalone e-commerce platform?

Shopify is amazing for hosting an online store fast without knowing how to code. I totally recommend it since I work with ChinaDivision.com.
Shopify is easier to handle. It is a hosted/managed shopping cart so you have to deal with a lot less technical stuff. Which is exactly what's best for you right now since you have to ask this question.

Woo Commerce is not bad at all.

Ive had to build a couple of sites for very "I.T limited" customers recently.

    Got them working on X-cart.

When a 70-something year old who types with 1 finger can input products, categories and manage the stock of their online store, I think that is a home run :)
