Duplicate Easier way to manage content types

For xF 1.3 could there be an easier way to manage content types (for alerts and such) through the adminCP that will export with plugins. It is such a pain to manually insert them, make sure you rebuild the cache, etc. It already has the field for Plugin ID, but doesn't export/import with a plugin.

I wrote an add-on to make managing this stuff easier:

It doesn't export with the add-on but it does make it easier to manage them and even generates the MySQL queries you need to put in your installer.
