Duplicate entry when importing to clean install

Hi,

I'm new to xenForo and am converting from a phpBB forum.
I had a few hicups but got through them eventually. Now I'm quite stuck.

It is a brand new install of XenForo 1.1.3, and have not made any modifications. The Original forum resided on another sever so I had duplicated it on the same server the new XenForo forum will reside.

When trying to import Users I get the following error every time:

Server Error
Mysqli statement execute error : Duplicate entry '2' for key 'PRIMARY'

It's been a few years since I've delved into sql so I'm pretty rusty and am not sure where to go from here.

I appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction.

That means your XF install is not empty. When you start the import there is a checkbox to preserve the source ids. If you enable this then the XF installation must be brand new. You cannot have added any users, groups, forums, etc or you will get "duplicate entry" errors.

Thanks so much for your reply.
I didn't think it could be so simple but it turns out that the owner of the site I'm converting to XenForo decided to have a play and create a new user.
All I had to do was delete it.

*sigh* so many wasted hours!
