XF 1.5 Download Resources via FTP

Hi,

I have deleted my SQL Database, but still have all Data online and want to download all resources via FTP.
It looks like they have the ending .data and I am not sure how to download them in a useable format.

Can anyone help?

It looks like they have the ending .data and I am not sure how to download them in a useable format.

The files are usable as-is, you "just" don't know what they are without the metadata stored in the database (eg. original filename).

You could use utilities like file though to try to "detect" (guess) what the files are.

So how do I unpack them? The uploads were all packed with either rar or zip

Figured it out, thanks. It is really that easy. Just unpack them without changing the ending.

As usual. They are still RAR or ZIP, they just don't have the original filename (including .zip/.rar) any longer.
