Lack of interest Double spacing after full stop

For those of us who prefer to type the good old British way, rather than the now more common French way, can we have the option of retaining double spacing after fullstops? At the moment they are automatically removed.

I'd like that, too, if it can be done. I grew up in the U.S., and was taught to double-space after a full stop. I still type that way even though the software removes the second space. I'm doing it right now, in fact; but no one will ever know...

It's a limitation of HTML, but the reason I ask is that I know drupal has a module which converts the second space into ' ', so I was kind of hoping we could have the option in xF.
