Donation Manager [Paid] [Deleted]

I cannot download the file from this site (click the download and nothing happens), nor can I do so from your website even though I am logged in. How do I get it?

First off. Awesome donation manager Robbo. Well worth the $$.

I have a question. Not sure if this is attainable...

I set up a goal for the year. With that goal I have promotions setup so that once a user reached a donation threshold dollar amount they get moved up in user group. I call them bronze, silver, gold and platinum.

At the end of the calendar year I'd like to renew that goal, and set everyones donations dollar amounts back to 0. That way the users get demoted back down to the regular user group and the promotion logic will work again to promote them when they donate again the next year? I suppose I can go in and delete things, but I would still like to have a history year over year of who donated, but I don't want that total to count for the current year. Otherwise next year when I create a new yearly goal, the donation dollar amount thresholds that I have setup will break the promotion logic. Right now if it keeps the donation amount history per person, someone who has donated say $100 will continue to have that user promotion for every goal going forward. Then at the beginning of the year when the yearly goal was reset, they would have already reached the user promotion threshold status to be a platinum member because of previous donations.

Am I over thinking this or is there some simple way to do what I am looking for?

You can't do it that way. You can only use the current criteria offered which would allow for one year but it would be giving them 1 year on that group from the time they donated.

Can't seem to find where the new setting is for what the main paypal is.

Would also like to have it so that each goal can be sent to a different paypal, as I use a server owner system, so they all have their own unique Paypal.

Please let me know if this is currently possible, or if you might be willing to add this feature in.

Hi - I was wondering if this feature could be added in:

A modification to the XenForo adminCP / user search system to include a field similar to:
"User hasn't donated in ___ days"

This way, I can easily see who hasn't donated in a while, and can reset their status manually.

Thanks!

Is this version supposed to be bug-free? Because for me at least the recent donors is still not automatically updating. And it's been so long since I used it I forgot how I was adding the donations manually. Gonna have to relearn ...

Edit: I found how to add manually. Still it will be nice to see the bugs fixed.

Another bug to add to the list. When you add manual donations for members who have already donated, the totals do not add correctly. If you attempt to correct the problem by deleting one or more donations and try to start over for that member, it gets even worse and deducts from the total as opposed to add to it. Very buggy addon and seemingly getting worse.

Not currently possible but planned at some point.

If it gets added it won't for a long time sorry.

Not a very buggy add-on at all. PayPal is the buggy system. And any issues you have said have been solved. You may not be up to date. Also, your issues provide no information to help find if it is an issue, if you are out of date or if I can help you fix it. Just complaining on here isn't going to solve your problem. Email the support email to get personal support one on one to solve issues.

I don't know how you can say it isn't buggy - anyone can see that it has been extremely buggy and from my perspective it still is. To claim it isn't buggy - you can't be serious. Your past exasperations claiming that we are "breathing down your neck" and it is why you "don't have time" to fix the many bugs is bad business. You had time to collect everyone's money. Take time to fix the problems and not lay the blame at our feet.

I do have the latest version, and the problem I described is happening just as I described it. The addon does not update donors automatically at least not for me, and it looks like from other's comments I am not the only one. Am I to understand that you're saying paypal is the problem? When I add them manually, the totals for the members who have donated mopre than once do not always add up correctly, and when I deleted two member's donations in an attempt to start from scratch their totals started to subtract from the old total, the amount that I was adding back. For example:

Member xyz donated $100 12 -20-2013 and I manually added it (does not automatically add them and never has) total shown donated $100 (correct)
Member xyz donated $20 1-4-2014 total to date shown $100 (incorrect)
I then deleted both donations and added them back and the new total donated for that member is now showing as $80.

I had a similar experience with the second member I tried to get the totals correct on by deleting the original donations and adding them back, and the total donations to date are never correct one way or the other. If you're going to take this stance that the problems do not exist, or not your responsibility, I'm just going to write this $50 off as bad money and wish you the best of luck in the future.

You seem really content to just slag me off for an add-on that has already paid for itself (assuming those are the real amount, if not it will soon pay for itself anyway). Instead of just emailing me to get the help you need and having it fixed.

I'll just be waiting for that email into the support system. Feel free to try and cause even less people to purchase this add-on. It hurts you too. The less that buy the less that could have the same issues and the less money I have to put into the project. But whatever floats your boat. Give respect and receive respect. Use the systems I have in place to provide FREE support.

This thread will most likely be closed soon due to people like you which will further hurt you in the long run because you won't be able to get community support when the nice people know the answer to a question before I have time to check.

Also no one is currently reporting that issue you have, they have all updated and have it working.

Just saw this part. I find it funny you think I am taking a "stance" of not helping you when you have been provided with an email to get personal one on one help.

You know what, I'm just going to get this thread cleaned up and locked. Sick of dealing with entitled kids who spend $50 for an add-on that pays them back and just have them moan and complain to me instead of just using the provided free support service to have issues fixed.

I was getting donations before I installed your addon. The main reason I bought it was because I wanted to use the cool features advertised, but the features are so buggy or do not work at all that I essentially do not have a working product, but you continue to tell me that my bugs do not exist (what is that arrogance or denial?) or that somehow it's paypal's fault or our fault for "breathing down your neck".

Everything is everyone else's fault. Now, you have the snobbery to suggest that because I am simply describing the bugs that I have, that I am trying to damage your sales. You're doing that just fine all by yourself. You do not want the bugs reported here for obvious reasons. If you read through the pages of this discussion you'll see where I came to your defense several times when others were compliaing about the coinstant bugs in the add on. The main problem Robbo is dealing with your attitude. Sometimes you're very accommodating and understanding and sometimes we're nothing but a PITA to you. It's just not worth it. I do sincerely wish the best and hope you get this add on working correctly and I will no longer bother you. ;)

This add-on appears to be working correctly. For everyone currently using it. But you. And you refuse to email me for one on one support to find and fix the issue which would also create another release so no one else can have the same issue. But no, instead all you do is complain on here, have a cry about my attitude (when you repeatable refuse to get actual support with the system in place where you can give details you might not be able to give here) and continue to go on about this add-on being a buggy mess when it works for EVERYONE ELSE. The posts you claim are the same bugs are now working for everyone else, they have downloaded updates and not said a word since so I can only assume it is fixed. The ones who did have issues with the latest release simply emailed me and we sorted it out in minutes. But no, you are too superior for emails and I am meant to read your mind for any information other than "it doesn't update the total".

Please stop replying here. You refuse to get support. All you want to do is complain in public. Go away.
