You need to have an account to purchase. In future it will be a much nicer way of telling you that and allow registration while you purchase. But we are stuck with this for now.

My amounts are not updating. I've upgraded to the latest and greatest and the amounts are still at $0. I added the line to the config.sys, but it was after the donations clued me in to nothing showing. Thoughts?

Do you have any errors in the error log? Or does PayPal IP History (might be hard to find) show any errors?

Were the donations before or after the config.php change?

3 donations before the config change, 1 after. Only errors in the log had to do with the config issue.

The 3 before the change will have to be added manually from the Admin section. The latest one could be an issue though. Did you check the PayPal stuff?

There is a bug in the 1.1.1 release which I don't have time to fix right away. However there is a simple workaround. Simply add the following to your library/config.php file.

$config['donation_manager']['paypal_callback'] = 'donation_manager_callback.php';
Usually issues with PayPal notifying your website of a donation will be recovered over time as PayPal resends the notifications. This will not be the case with this specific bug so any donations you have received before...

I realize it isn't your job to train me to recode your addon, but could you be more specific about where I am supposed to insert this new code? Do I have to do it on my server, or can I insert it in the library folder on my desktop where I downloaded the file to begin with and then upload that modified folder to the server, or does it go in a template in the ACP? I don't have a clue where it is supposed to go.

Robbo updated Donation Manager with a new update entry:

1.1.5 Released

Donation Manager 1.1.5 is a bug fix release. This release solves a critical bug with the previous 1.1.1 release. Note that the version bump is due to corrupt packages that were reporting the wrong version so we have just pushed to 1.1.5 to avoid confusion.

library is the folder you are in, the one above Merc.

How hard would it be to enable manual donation entry function editing to be used without actually activating the addon? I have a long list of manual entries I'd like to input but I don't want them showing until I get them all input.

Why not just set the permissions so no one can see the addon while you add them?
