Does the original thread url still work if the thread title is changed?

As urls are based on the thread title, I was wondering what would happen if the thread title was changed at some point in the future.

Are there fields in the posts table which contain the original thread title and url and so the old and new links will work?

Or is there some clever redirect code implemented?

Or none of the above?

Edit, never mind, I've just answered my own question

The actual url for this thread is http://xenforo.com/community/threads/does-the-original-thread-url-still-work-if-the-thread-title-is-changed.3149/

But if I change it to http://xenforo.com/community/threads/new-title.3149/ then it still works.

As long as the ID is in the URL it'll always go back to the thread.
