Don't like this, long titles will look awful.

If you want to style your forum to look like that, you can do so by editing templates.

However, the default style as shipped with XenForo will not be changed to this design.

Thanks for the feedback and communicating your decision. One template edit (maybe the breadcrumb template, too) is really okay. There is other forum software on the market where you have to change dozens of styles to achieve what you can do with xenforos template system and one or two template edits.

I like the discussion here and arguments pro and contra each design idea.

Breadcrumbs to me personally are just a path from where you came from, additional information.
The title of the thread completely separate and above the first post, clarifies clearly where you are.

It also allows for custom font type, white space, bigger font, @font-face type, etc.
