Do you have problems with spam bots?

This is how spam bots that register on my forum look, they usually get stuck for approved but today when I look at my forum there are 17 spam bots that have tried to register. How do they manage Captcha and how can Google not recognize the type and the same pattern of bots that sign up for G-mail? I hope my question is in the right forum part.

StopForumSpam gets rid of most of those for me but I have it cranked way up. I also manually approve new registrations, but those are rare.

Stopforumspambot does a good job but they manage to get away with it, maybe because it's G-mail? But as you say, stop forum spam stops but then they end up approving manually.

Is your forum being hammered by Bots?

I dont know why but the last few days my forum has been getting hammered by bots. The ones that have been really hitting me are SEMrush - WHY ahref - scrapper I think OVH. I ended up blocking OVH subnet in cpanel because 40 was to much. My forum is very local and very niche. I am not sure...
