Theres a script running that makes the boxes resize them selves based on how active you are in them.

These are grey because official RPdom games will have full blown banners/images that expand with the box. So as the box grows more of the image gets unlocked.

Ignore the white sidebar it obviously is not done. None RPs will have solid colors like the site announcement forum etc.

Inspired by Windows 8 and the need to be able to utilize all of a user's screen. After this style we will be able to put tons of things on the forum index, before we had to hide games under sub forums etc.
 
I like the Front view with the Tiles. Its Win 8 Look a Like but also differennt, The Colors are fitting with the Background totally.
The Sidebar should be different too.

Well. You have this Tile Concept which is really nice looking but when it comes to the Themes its a "hard" roll back to just a normal looking forum.

Dont get me wrong but as i saw the front with the tiles i was expecting something different.

hmmm- I think my forum is the sexiest XF install :P

Your theme is nice though... It's kinda giving me that Windows8, Metro theme vybe that Miner released earlier today on his site.

Anyway - I'm loving the progress on it so far. Congratulations Wizard :)

I like the bigger icons (foot, quote box, etc) .... I myself was thinking the forum titles could be easier to read if they were bigger.
Regardless ... looks great and getting better !

Nope. Me too. I hate Windows 8 with a vengeance. I've jumped ship to Apple. Posting from Mountain Lion
 
Not a fan of W8 either, but if this is the style you and your users are digging, you did an excellent job integrating it in XF.
 
I abhor the look and feel of Windows8 - It's like the design was for windows phone and tablets only. Kinda left the desktop users behind. Boooo Microsoft! Booo!

As I said before though - I like the theme you're building. It's unique for a xenforo install.

Couldn't have said it better myself. What he's building is cool and innovative, while Win8 is hardly functional and a slap in the face to traditional PC users. We know you want everything to go mobile, Microsoft. We get it.

But this style is pretty kick-ass.
 
I think this is a really neat concept for mobile users, actually--just like the Windows 8 Metro screen is nice for touch screens, not so much for desktops or laptops (in some cases, it's easier with a trackpad).

Regardless of how you feel about the Metro style though, this is really nicely executed. Great work. :)
