Awaiting feedback DM alert flag didn't clear

Saw a red "1" against DMs tonight. Clicked it and opened the DM which displayed ok. However, the 1 flag was still there. Had to hit the Firefox browser refresh for that to clear.

Note that this is the first time I've seen this glitch with this version of XF, so it might be hard to replicate. I know that 2.3.0 was prone to this, so it might be a hangover from that.

This is a self hosted site and while I'm an admin, it's actually owned by @Feline Forums who will be qualified to answer any potential server questions as I have no access to that.

i see this regularly with alerts with tor browser.
tor is based on firefox so it may be a browser issue?
 
It's so intermittent and I don't get those alerts all the time, so can't say if it's a Firefox issue, or something else. Hard to troubleshoot, for sure.
 
i still get the weird date time stuff also.
instead of the date and time it looks like it shows the phrase.

Fixed Thread 'Notifications delay'

I have noticed this quite often, most of the time, that notifications in the navigation bar (alerts and DM) are not displayed when I arrive on the forum, I have to navigate on a page (any one) for them to finally appear.

Thanks Jeremy. I did see it once or twice since reporting it here and will let you know if it continues from 2.3.4. Note that the forum is pretty quiet, so not that many opportunities for it to happen.
