You can edit the member's permissions and set "post new profile posts" to never.
Navigation: Admin Control Panel -> Users -> Permissions -> User Permissions -> Type username in Search Box and hit the Set Permissions button

There is an overall permission:

Admin CP -> Users -> List User Groups -> [click the group] -> Post new profile posts

Otherwise it's a preference that is controlled by each user:

The default user prefs can be set in your:

Admin CP -> Home -> Options -> User Registration -> Default Registration Values

Will that disable all profile posts? We don't want them posting on others. Like, me posting on yours, but, you can still post on yours.
