Can you give as much info as you can? Works for me with all the ways I try it. XF version, which two-step option specifically, browser, etc.

a clearer note on the description would be suggested at the very top to not upgrade if you want pass keys since it is not fully 2.2 and older fully supported.
also when i removed the new version and tried to install the older one it told me i had permission errors for the install directory?
luckily tracy was at home and i contacted him and he accessed the server and he said he changed the permissions back to nginx for read and write.
he did not tell me what they changed to as he was also busy on working on his astronomy equipment.

Passkeys are part of XenForo 2.3 natively now, so... !!! VERY IMPORTANT !!! If you upgrade to this version, Passkeys that were setup with previous versions of this addon will be deleted. Read that again if you didn't read it fully. Existing Passkeys from this addon CANNOT be migrated to...

Existing Passkeys from this addon CANNOT be migrated to XenForo 2.3 native Passkeys (XF 2.3 uses resident keys, which allows things like passwordless login, so there's no upgrade path) and existing Passkeys created by previous versions of this addon will be deleted.

Again... existing Passkeys that users setup for themselves will be deleted. Read all this again.

that is nice if you read the updates.
but if you look at the main introduction page which a new user of the add on will do it does not do that much good.
that is where i am talking about pushing it to the front so it is easy to find.
how many first time users of the add on are going to read through every update to see what all of them say compared to reading the introduction page?
if you see on the introduction page it supports 2.1 and 2.2 you expect it to offer what the introduction page says it does.




just a suggestion as it bit me.
i am sure it will probably bite others also.

Passkeys in XenForo 2.3 are managed one level up from two-step since it's used for more than two-step.

I'm thinking the smartest choice would be to un-'two-step' them all and message them that we have now done it 'this way'. Otherwise I have got (admittedly just a few) trying, can't get in... and then creating a brand new account!

I'm using an iPhone 'passkey' that I used to access the forum the first time (via 'Passkey login'). Then I chose to log off... and now when I choose the passkey for the second time:





I don't get it. Sorry.

I know it's not your problem @digitalpoint, but can't you please take over development again!
