That is so true. But you already have the forum software. Nothing you or the developers add to the forum will make up for a lack of quality content on your forum or on other channels. No feature they add will make users flood from tiktok to a forum. What is this killer feature that you think might help you compete with TikTok?

I don't want to compete with any platforms, as I'm targeting professional photographers with high end images. Tiktok is not images content is video content

What I'm saying is, xenforo is lack of features, and depending on the forum niche, we have to rely very hard on third party addons.

I've look at IPB and it's more what I want for my next project than XF.

Enjoy the expensive software...
Hope you realise you have to pay that amount twice a year.
You'd be better off going with woltlab or smf

my co-owner pays a lot more than what invision costs to provide what he wants to on his site from what he has said.
and his renewals are more than invsion would be for what they offer.
he has used both of the other programs you mentioned and said they are are not up to what he wants to offer.
do you have some type of problem with invision?
i keep reading your comments that lack any factual backing when it comes to them.
I know i looked at using it but was talked away from it and my site co owner paid for some plugins that gave me some stuff i wanted for it that could be done in invision.

I used to use vBulletin. I decided to stop that in preference to trying xf cloud.
Now that i've tried that, it too isn't so bad.
There are plenty of free options out there via cpanel that could be winners as well.
I read that @zappaDPJ moved a couple of his own forums to smf.
I did see your co-owner set up a hate site basing itself on slagging off at the xf staff.
That's not a good idea.
Keep things positive.

because as you know he is not allowed here.
but he does talk about it on other sites dealing with xenforo and site owner stuff.
i also think you know that i have considered invision in the past.
since you have commented in those threads?
is there a problem with someone relaying what they have been told?

It's because your mate spent too much time trolling on this site.
We all saw it and read it.
We also saw the xf staff on here get really angry with legit reasons too.
Fine if he wants to abuse a small business but it will bite him hard on his bum.

I comment in a lot of threads, I don’t think I can be expected to remember or file away every detail about what other members might post (or know who isn’t allowed to post).
