Fixed Device trusted even after disabling 2FA?

I disabled 2FA however on account/two-step I still see this:

This device is currently trusted until Aug 2, 2015. You will not need to complete two-step verification from this device until then. You may choose to stop trusting this device so that you will be prompted to complete two-step verification when you next log in.

And I'm even provided with a button to "Stop trusting this device".

Is this expected?

Not inherently wrong, but it does seem unintuitive, so I'm clearing out trust records when disabling 2FA.
