XF 1.2 Delete Posts

I don't want my moderators to be able to soft delete posts willy nilly.

If I remove this option from the permissions, will the option to delete still remain when using the spam cleaner or when issuing a warning.

The spam cleaner options are separate to the permissions so they will still be able to delete posts and threads.

The warning function respects the permission setting.

Thanks @Brogan , that's a shame, I was hoping to be able to force that if any post is that bad that it has to be deleted that a warning is issued for it.

Also when a warning note is added to a post, is it deleted once the warning expires or is it there for good.

The warning remains unless manually removed, but the points expire (if set up that way) and are removed from the users count.
