Duplicate Define Order of Forum Threads by Position

Can we get a simple way of manually defining thread order by position without having to perform database modifications?

Sometimes we really want to re-order our threads in a specific way but they were started at random times and we don't want to delete and re-post them.

Example: Define a certain thread to always be at the first position, or another to always be at the fourth position.

Do you mean sticky threads or just threads in general,

The former has already been suggested.

The latter makes no sense - threads are ordered by post date.

I did a search but didn't find anything related to this. Sometimes there are several sticky threads at the top of a forum. It would be great if there was the ability to manually set the order of these, rather than it being based on last post/thread start date. If announcements ever get coded...
