How do I enable debug mode?
Edit the /library/config.php file to add the following line: $config['debug'] = true;
Note that it is not advised to run a live site with debug mode enabled due to the increased resources required.

Yes. Or comment it out with two slashes:

// $config['debug'] = true;

From searching the manual it doesn't look like instructions for turning debug mode on are in there (at least there's no search results for "debug").
