Oh one more thing:
A user can post content in a node, even when they do not have the permission.
This happens when the user is using the 'Ask Box' with auto routing. It ignores permissions.

In Settings -> Portal AI Suite Pro: Auto-Routing ... included/excluded forums are also ignored. They just appear even if you excluded them.

Still getting a few errors and Hot Articles widget is not sliding:

Please reinstall the add-on and make sure to select the option to overwrite all data.

After that, monitor the behavior. I just checked it on my live environment and I’m unable to reproduce the issue.

Please also clear the cache in the Portal dashboard afterward.
 
The Hot Articles problem was indeed something with caching and is solved.

The schema errors appear after every upgrade, that's something different.

Just reporting some more stuff. If you want this out of this topic, let me know where I should report this.

Ask Box -> When clicking on "I'm not sure /General" it says "Oops! We ran into some problems."

In ACP -> Hot Articles widget, disabling the 'Show statistics' option doesn't work

Quick Links widget now be working? I tried something like {"title": "Test", "url": "https://test.com", "icon": "fa-var-home", "description": "Test2"} but nothing shows up.

Does this also allow one to author their own content to be published? Or is it just sourcing content exclusively from third party feeds?

Hey @ManagerJosh,

yes, absolutely. It is not limited to third-party feeds.

You can publish your own content as portal articles as well. The feed/news part is just an additional module for communities that want to pull in external news sources and turn them into drafts.

So if you want to write your own content, feature existing forum threads, or build a more editorial-style portal, that is supported. The AI News system is mainly there to help automate news discovery and draft creation, but you still keep control over what gets reviewed, edited and published.

This looks to be an awesome add-on. Just the layout and portal definitions offer lots of flexibility. Can't believe I missed it.
@DEBTech - some early feedback...

1. Logged a bug for your AI HUB add-on separately already.
2. /deb-portal-events i.e. clicking manage events from front end results in a 404.
3. Is there a forum list widget I'm missing? I see forum categories which takes me to an anchor but I want to click into forum node directly.
4. I am not seeing variants of XF and 3rd party widgets i.e. CAS (@Bob ;s classified addons) and others have multiple display styles i.e. card, carousel view etc. Your portal only seems to be including the basic style. Is there a trick to add those variants in? This is a must have for a portal addons as most of these will have a full carousel, grid, card views (similar to media gallery) that should be extended and rendered. Maybe allow to render standard widgets as a stop gap in a container or permit XF syntax so we can do up our own?
5. As a suggestion - fully option Events and Polls functionality as you're not using standard XF poll threads and have a simplified events feature. It's good to have but I would put these behind settings so admins don't get confused. Many of us are using dedicated events addons. This way you declutter your ACP options screen a little.

I'll keep on trucking with this.

Great add-on you have created. Thanks for sharing it with us. I have several question regarding its functionality if you don't mind answering them as I can not see this information about it. We want to use it as a media page for IT news on our forum - domain.com/news and have around 5-6 news per day AI generated. The questions go like this:

1. Can we follow specific websites where we want to take news from?
2. Does the add-on rewrite and translate to our local language the content from a specific website/s?
3. How images come? Do they be also generated with AI and included into the article in the specific category we want?
4. In future do you plan auto posting to social networks such as Facebook, Instagram and other?

Thanks a lot for you answers and hope to got the time to give me this information. We really need to automate this process. :)
