Yes, no problem. You can use gif, png, jpg. These types can be uploaded via the new XenForo Asset Uploader, or manually.

@Hoffi SVG doesn't work on FrontEnd but in BackEnd. And Fa-Brands doesn't. Check our translation forum..

PNG, JPG, GIF with XF internal Uploader
SVG also, but you need to upload it on your own.
