XF 2.1 Customize What's New

Hi,
I just enabled the "What's New" widget on Forum overview: Top
Now, if I change the settings (for example reduce maximum entries to 5) both widgets get affected. Is there a way to seperate them? Is it possible to customize the appearance of one of these widgets without changing the other one?

I activated this widget on the Forum overview

What can I do to hide
The mini avatars
the reply and view count
the edit button (do other users see this button or is it only visible for me as the admin of the site?)

Have you tried the widget display options?

Yes, I already tried that but I don’t like the „simple“ style. It looks really bad imo.
