XF 1.5 Custom forum URLS – non-custom thread URLs

Hi folks,


I see XF has the ability to have custom URLs for the various nodes and forums (brilliant) but the threads seems to default back to thread/threadTitle.12345 (notsomuch brilliant).


I have the following:

https://www.landcruiserclub.net/community/forums/toyta_landcruiser_60_series/

and in it I have a thread:

https://www.landcruiserclub.net/community/threads/tlc-hj61-total-reconditioning.142150


Is there a way I can extend the functionality to be https://www.landcruiserclub.net/com...0_series/tlc-hj61-total-reconditioning.142150


Another question would be – does it really matter?

Globally you can change the /threads/ route using the route filter function, but you can't remove it completely.

It can be removed for individual threads but you would have to set up a route filter for each one.
