Custom Data Input?

Does anyone know if theres a way to add a new text box that asks for a Minecraft username in the Registration Process and in the User Preferences? and saves the data in the MYSQL along with the user data. This would greatly help me if there is any way i could figure out a way of doing this!

Custom profile fields in 1.1. You could use identities until then? They aren't mandatory at registration but you can ask them to be filled in.

There an ETA to 1.1? And do you have the link to identities or would it be in addons?

I released a minecraft identity service addon that checked if the user was a paid member, if that is of any use to you.

The 1.1 ETA is "soon".

If it saves the MC Usernames in the MYSQL somewhere then Ya it would be great!
