Current URL Variable within template (Anchors)

Hopefully I've got this in the right place.

I'm looking to get Xenforo to get the current URL for an anchor to work.

E.g:

http://testforum.com/testing.2/

I want an href to go to: http://testforum.com/testing.2/#extrastuff

But it currently goes to http://testforum.com/#extrastuff when an anchor is put on (a href="#extrastuff")


Can I get the variable for the current URL to add to the href? this is not specific to one link so I can't use an absolute address.
