I run an iPhone forum, so as you'd imagine, I get a ton of iPhone, iPad users. Having made the jump from vB, site visitors using iPhones, iPads are complaining of speed issues. I know that XF has an enhancements disabled template. Is there a way for me to create a similar template or make edits to my existing template?

I'm desperate to find some sort of resolution to improve things for my visitors.

You can create a new style and disable things such as the forum descriptions tooltips, overlays, animations, set the lightbox to single post as opposed to the page, etc.

Is it possible to create a child of a child template?

Right now, I've got Flexile installed and I've made a ton of modifications to the child of Flexile. Would it be possible to create a child of the child.

    So... non-modified Flexile
    ------------------------------Customized Child (primary template)
    -----------------------------------Enhancement Disabled

Yes, just choose the child as the parent when creating the new style.
