I'm new to xen still but i am experienced in css. I want to create a theme, but I'm wondering if there's an html template for me to use in order to build it out.

everything is tagged here so @primary @primaryDarker etc, but honestly I don't know what those all go to. I'm wondering what the best way to build out a theme is being able to see it before installing it?

There is no single HTML template for XF - pages are rendered using multiple templates for both HTML and CSS.

I would advise installing on localhost and creating your style there.

Maybe I worded that wrong, i'm well aware of the way the system works, i was looking for a template that would tell me what those variables pointed to is all, but that link you gave seems to give me the right direction. thanks
